The White Rabbit

The name bestowed upon me by my people is insufferably demeaning. Therefore, I prefer to "blog" under a pseudonym. "The White Rabbit" is an apt enough descriptor, as I am indeed a rabbit and my fur is primarily white in hue. Of course, it may also be correctly interpreted as an allusion to the Lewis Carroll novel, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.

  • To buy or not to buy, that is the question:
Whether ‘tis nobler in the mind to purchase
A shiny toy, for an outrageous fortune,
    Or to resist overwhelming temptation
    And, by resisting, feel superior.
To suffer one’s own sickening envy
Of the indulgent, the early adopters
Who’ll flash their toys and taunt with their consumption,
Devoutly to be wished. To buy, to have
To buy, perchance to use. Ay, there’s the rub,
For in that shiny toy what apps may come?
